Mizukage's Office

Egress Uchiha, the 7th Mizukage, become his work in his office. he was busy filling out reports, paperwork, and mission files that is filled with constant pleas from foreign countries. Ever since the 4th Great Ninja World War has ended and two months after he had left Konoha, Egress was assigned by "them" to conquer this one who he has no interest in. But after a few years as their leadeer, he begins to feel the responsibility he had felt them, not to mention what he had done to Rokudaime Mizukage, he had alot to take care of before he can join them. He smiled and reassured himself that he's now a member of the Five Great Nations, that had always cheered him up. He then took a big breath, and lowered his head, contuining with his work.

Sigh, the shinobi here are pretty strong.. not to mention their manners.. Egress thought. It had been three decades ever since Kirigakure has earned its nickname the "Village of the Bloody Mist" and become the most feared country over all of the other countries. Their system of creating and breeding talented and amazing warriors was successful and their ninja were always elite, strong, and follows the Code of Shinobi. But that was around 30 years ago, the so-called BloodMist Village returned to its normal state and their nightmare was over, they were just ordinary, Godaime Mizukage has assured that peace would be kept. The 6th Mizukage even thought about restoring the Mist Village back to its feared status, but he had failed in that plan. Until Egress Uchiha came...

Now the current Mizukage is up to something extraorindary. He plans to restore the way people graduate from the Academy as a free-for-all deathmatch! But in order to keep the happiness of people, Lord Mizukage assured that the top 6 survivors, regardless of grades or talent, would promote to Genin. As even inside the weak and poor shinboi of Kirigakure's Academy, once the melee graduation exam begins, he'll seek out true killer instinct and that's what all shinboi of Kirigakure is hammered into them: Murderous Intent. They all have to will to fight on and risk their lives for the village, to brutally and forcefully slaughter everyone even their own comrades, to withstand gruesome tasks and crush all of those in their way, in just three months ever since Egress became the Mizukage, the Mist Village became bloody again and is feared across the entire ninja world.

Egress smiled knowing his plan has worked, Kirigakure's Assassination Squads are fearsome and the Jounin are emotionless, or so it appears. Even the toughest fighters in the Village of the Bloody Mist, including Genin, Chunin, Jounin, Hunter-Nins, and even his "trustworthy" advisors, their strength nor prowess could match Egress's own, as they would be easily be controlled by his ocular eyes, that's why it's wise to not look into the Mizukage's eyes if you're talking to him. Happy to know that he's leading a very elite country, even during these times of peace and luxury, where money and raising prodigies were no longer a concern to the shinobi villages, the Renaissance was truly helpful in massively increasing the economy. Finishing filling out a D-rank mission plea, he grew bored and awaited for someone to enter through that door and ask for a mission....

After walking for hours, getting lost six times, asking nine people for help and falling through the roof of a brothel she finally made it to the Mizukage's mansion. Katsuya stopped outside with a happy grin on her face as she rested for a moment and got her thoughts together before moving forward and stepping into the mansion. She then moved to a desk with a women at it and asked if she could talk to the Mizukage. The women told her to go to the waiting room which Katsuya agreed to. She walked down the hallway and into the waiting room where she took her sheaths off and placed them on the floor where the floor began to crack and splinter under the weight of the sheaths which made Katsuya stare for a moment. "GODDAMIT I MUST BE THE MOST UNLUCKIEST NINJA IN THE WORLD!!" Katsuya shouted as she sat down and took a deep breath to calm down to stop her self panicking about damaging the floor while she waited for her meeting with the Mizukage.

Egress was busy scratching up some notes when he heard a faint voice. He couldn't make up the words but he dropped his pen and headed out of the door. He opened it to see what laid in the corridor. Not much. At least it appeared to him for now not much. He looked around and asked, "Hello? Is anyone here?" He did not believe it too be ghosts, but he was quite contented if the spirits of past Mizukage were communicating to him.

Katsuya jumped when she heard a voice and quickly grabbed her two sheaths and put them on before grimacing when she saw the broken floorboards. Katsuya looked around and found a rug which she pulled over the damage before poking her head into the hallway she heard a voice from. "Um...I'm here." Katsuya said hesitantly as she waited for a reply.

Hearing a voice confirming their location, Egress turns towards the source. Walking a little bit over the corridor, he sees a young red-black haired girl. The Mizukage looks down at the floor and suddenly gets confused. Hmm... I thought that rug was a few meters over to the left.. oh well! thought Egress. He concluded that this girl had wanted to see him. "Erm.. hello? Were you talking to yourself or you were just playing a prank on me..?" asked Egress with a slightly amused look.

Katsuya rubbed the back of her head in an embarrassed and nervous gesture as the Mizukage showed up and looked at the rug before talking to her. Katsuya took a calming breath before answering. "Er I wasn't doing anything I was just told to come visit the Mizukage since I'm from the Toshiro clan that recently joined the village." Katsuya then waited for them to reply before speaking again since she was still feeling a bit nervous.

Egress squinted his eyes to get a better look of the girl. Young... quite young... he observed. It is shameful for him that he did not notice anything strange going on outside of his household. "Toshiro clan... I havent' quite heard of the family but.." paused Egress. Feeling no more concern, Egress resumed. "Well the Mizukage is here to see you.. come along in my office and you can tell me what I owe to pleasure to.." said Egress. He then turned around, walked back to his office and returned to his desk. He closed his eyes for a moment, just to see Hakugori run by. He was about to say hi but the man was running too fast. What has gotten to people these days? wondered Egress..

Katsuya followed the Mizukage as her family's orders went through her head.

[Flashback]

Katsuya was sitting in her family dojo in front of an old sword that was housed in a small shrine at one end of the dojo. Katsuya was bowing to a man next to the shrine as he spoke to her. "Katsuya as you know are clan is dying and we found the only way to keep the clan alive is to join a village but all the villages are too corrupt so now I'm ordering you to cleanse the corruption. You are to assassinate the Mizukage with this sword." The man turned to the shrine and pulled out a small engraved sword with a seal on it. "This sword has the poison of the boss snake summon itself coating the blade. This sword is deadly and will cause death with even the slightest wound. So be careful. With the blade you will attack the Mizukage in the least place he will suspect an attack. His home. Once you have cut the man allow the poison to take affect before sending the signal for the clan. Don't fail us." Katsuya nodded and said only two words. "Yes Father."

[Flashback end]

As the Mizukage sat down Katsuya walked into the room and flicked the knife out of her sleeve before charging at the kage and throwing the razor sharp and poisonous blade at the kage in an attempt to kill him.

Egress was just picking up an ink container, when he sees a glint of murderous intent coming towards him. He looked up, just to see the girl.. with a knife aiming towards him. Huh? What's that? wondered Egress. However, Egress's slow comprehension will not avail him. In an instant, his shinobi instincts reacted. He pulled out his Kusanagi Blade, jumped towards the right, and proceeded to swing the sword towards the girl's neck....

Katsuya's eyes widened in surprise as the Mizukage dodged since she thought he was distracted and before she could move she was beheaded. Her dead body bled out on the floor as the knife Katsuya threw melted through the wall it hit due to the powerful poison.

Suzumo knocked swiftly on the door of the mizukage's office, "Yo, just got out of the hospital, you have any free time." He was basically recovereds ince his injuries weren't to bad when he went into the hospital, mostly just a for a bed to sleep in. Lightly pressing his hand on the door it slid open and he walked in eyeing the room a bit, checking out the decor and furniture, he hadn't notice how luxurious it was before since his mind was on a set track to train his sharingan. "Sooo..." He smiled heavily and propped up in the chair in front of the desk.

Egress had killed her. He had done it. Not that assasination and murder was new to him. It had been a long time. The girl.. decipitated. An assasination attempt? Means I can no longer trust this Toshiro clan... thought Egress. However, he was shocked to see a confident Suzumo coming in. Egress stepped on the head and rolled it to the side, leaving his advisors to deal with it. "Quite right... jutsus... let's head towards the Training Field.." said Egress. 'We'll start today.."
