A new morning

He stood there motionless on the steps of the house, the wind blowing by fluttering the leaves all around. He silently picked up one of the leaves and began to fossilize it, the ice slowly incased it for all eternity. The sun shined off of it beaming a stream of light onto his face, "What a pleasant morning." These were always the best, when he was alone and able to embrace nature. The ice began to form in his hand making a small senbon and he pinned the leaf to the wall as a gift for the owners letting him stay, although he didn't ask. Leaving through the front gate he began to walk down the street, his black robes folded over in one hand. The many silver chains pressed on his shoulders and chest, as he sighed.
