Description: Using the mouths in the palms of his hands, Deidara can infuse clay with chakra. He then molds it into a shape depending on the abilities he wants it to have and spits it out. After molding the clay, Deidara can enlarge it to various sizes depending on the intended purpose of the clay. Once enlarged, the clay creations can be brought to life and controlled remotely by Deidara. Deidara can make the clay explode by saying Katsu (喝). Though the explosives are powerful, they are all earth-based techniques, and as such, can be defused by a lightning technique.

Description: Deidara's most basic and versatile form of explosive clay created from a single palm mouth. These are small animated dolls that often resemble small birds or insects, though he has once made snakes, fishes and some misshapen-like creatures controlled by Deidara through a wire made out of clay which could regenerate themselves, while multiplying. They have little explosive power, making them excellent for covert operations. He can release them at high speeds.

Description: One of Deidara's specialties; a large dragon, capable of flight. While Deidara is safely on its back, the dragon spits out smaller clay figures that attack the opponent like guided missiles. Description: A giant doll, shaped like you. When it ruptures, a cloud of microscopic bombs is released. Impossible to be seen by normal people, the victims breathe in the bombs, which then enter the bloodstream. Once there, the countless micro-bombs explode, causing the victims' bodies to disintegrate at the cellular level, literally turning them into dust. According to Deidara, he created C4 for the sole purpose to defeat Itachi.

Description: Deidara's most powerful jutsu; a suicidal technique in which he eats a large ball of clay with the mouth on his chest. This consumes his entire body, condensing the body into a large black sphere with jagged teeth and pupil-less eyes. The sphere then opens up and detonates, destroying everything within a blast that covers more than ten kilometers.

Description: Deidara creates Exploding Clay that is connected to his hands with a thin cord of clay. The clay then rises from the ground, molding itself into human-like forms. Deidara runs chakra through the cords of clay, manipulating the clay substances to attack the opponent. The density of the clay is strong enough to repel and suck in a sword. When cut apart, the clay substances form more human/animal like forms. Deidara then can connect more cords of clay to the fallen clay pieces. Furthermore, Deidara can then use the clay as explosives, attacking the opponent and covering them with clay, which then explodes.

Description: The user makes a clone out of mud and clay so that the clone takes in all the damage. In the anime, it is shown as a clone melting into clay after an attack from Naruto's Rasengan. However, Kakashi refers to this as a Kawarimi (Replacement) which possibly means Deidara can switch himself with a clone to avoid damage. You can make the clone explode by doing needed hand signs..

Sai draws creatures on his scroll, then uses this technique to animate them. The animals can act as the corresponding animal would. For example, a bird can be used for espionage or flight depending on its size, while a tiger can attack and maul an opponent. Sai can also control them for other purposes.

This jutsu creates clones out of ink. The clones revert back to ink once damaged enough.

Doton: Yomi Numa (Earth Release: Swamp of the Underworld)

This jutsu turns a large area of land into a sinking swampland, making it impossible for anyone or anything in that area to move around. The size of the swamp is proportionate to the amount of chakra used to perform the technique. When performed by a drugged Jiraiya, this technique only created a large, semi-deep swamp that merely inhibited the movement of the snakes it was targeting. When performed properly, it is supposed to engulf the target completely.

Deidara creates several explosive spiders and throws them in the air as Sasori uses the Third Kazekage puppet to make shards of Iron Sand blades that carry the spiders to the enemy. The opponent is forced into the ground where the spiders detonate. The detonation is so powerful that Sasori has to make the Third Kazekage puppet create an iron sand barrier to shield Sasori and Deidara from the blast.

Sai takes out a small piece of paper (that is extremely sticky on the back, like a post-it) and writes "transport" on it. Sai then places it on his opponent. By concentrating a small amount of chakra, Sai can transport to his opponent's location to either silently attack them or to reveal to his comrades the enemy's location.
