Uchiha Clan - The Uchiha Family was once considered to be one of the most powerful clans in Konohagakure, but is now almost extinct after the events of the Uchiha Clan Massacre. Their special ability is the Sharigan Eyes. The Sharingan is a Kekkei Genkai, which appears in the members of the Uchiha clan. Some characters believe that it was somehow derived from the Hyuuga Clan's Byakugan. Although the Sharingan consumes the user's chakra while active, the chakra levels that the user must exert is so insignificant that they can keep it active constantly. Although when the Sharingan is transplanted to a non-Uchiha, the chakra drain is significant.

Hyuuga Clan - The Hyuuga Family is one of the oldest and most powerful clans in Konohagakure. All members born into the family possess the Byakugan, a kekkei genkai that gives them extended fields of vision and the ability to see chakra. The Uchiha clan's Sharingan is believed to be descended from the Byakugan. The clan is separated into two parts, the main house (宗家, Sōke) and the branch house (分家, Bunke), a system that protects the secrets of the Byakugan from outsiders. The main house runs the family while the branch house protects it. The Byakugan is a genetic trait that is shared amongst the members of the Hyuuga Clan. Those that inherit the blood of this clan have almost featureless white eyes. Although it is not stated directly, it is assumed that all members of the Hyuuga family possess the Byakugan. It is a common, but not proven belief, that the Sharingan is a genetic offshoot of the Byakugan.

Inuzuka Clan - The Inuzuka Family is known for their use of dogs (some clan members prefer wolves) as fighting companions. Clan members are apparently given their own canine partner or partners when they reach a certain age. Thereafter, the shinobi and his/her dog(s) are practically inseparable. Clan members have distinctive red fang markings on their cheeks, animalistic eyes, and enlarged canine teeth. It would seem that due to the bond between a Inuzuka clan member and their canine partner(s), their chakra is allowed to mix and is shared between them, adding a feral appearence to the human partners, and makes a bond between then that affords them the use of the clan's Hiden collaboration-style techniques; such as the Dual Piercing Fang technique.

Nara Clan - The Nara Family is known for their manipulation of shadows and tending of deer, which graze in a large area of Nara clan forest. They have kept a book with medicine preparations and effects for generations which imply they are skilled in the area of medicine. Among the medicine described in this book are the secret pills used by the Akimichi clan. The men from this family are very lazy, tend to be attracted to overbearing women, and are apparently geniuses.

Yamanaka Clan - The Yamanaka Family runs a flower shop and specializes in manipulating the minds of their opponents. Their techniques range from transferring consciousness to communicating telepathically. Blond hair and blue eyes seem to be characteristic of Yamanakas.

Akimichi Clan - The Akimichi Family is a clan that is able to convert calories into chakra, which they then use in their hidden technique, Multi-Size Technique and its various related body-enlargement jutsu. Most of these jutsu are known to rapidly consume the user's chakra upon activation, and maintaining them during a prolonged battle can be tiring indeed, which must be why the Akimichi is prone to overeating in order to constantly replenish their chakra reserves. As a tribute to this, both Choji and Choza wear the kanji for "food" on the front of their clothing. If standard calories aren't enough for a battle, Akimichi can use the clan's Three Colored Pills to convert excess fat into chakra, at the cost of one's health.

Aburame Clan - The Aburame Family is a clan characterized by their use of insects, called Kikaichū, as weapons. The insects live in symbiosis within the body of the shinobi. At birth, members of this clan are offered to a special breed of insects as a nest, residing just under their host's skin. The insects can leave and enter through various pores, apparently by eating their way through the skin. The insects are called destruction bugs. They feed on chakra as a food source, making them quite deadly. The relationship between the shinobi and the insects is mutually beneficial. The host grants the bugs shelter and allows them to feed off their chakra, their body becoming a living hive, and in return the bugs do the user's bidding, allowing the shinobi to perform ninjutsu-like techniques without the use of hand seals or chakra conversion. A female bug can be left on a target, which then can be tracked by smell by the male bug, or scout bugs can be sent out and return to tell the host information about the area. For this reason, Aburame clan members are experts in espionage; they can communicate with the bugs, and the bugs specialize in stealth because they make no noise or motion during combat. In addition to utilizing insects in battle, the Aburame clan also studies insects. They were rivals of the Kamizuru clan, the bee users, until they defeated them in battle. A major defining trait of the Aburame clan is that all of its known members wear dark sunglasses that hide their eyes as well as jackets that cover part of their face.

Kaguya Clan - The Kaguya Family was a clan, known to have been very barbaric. Select few, namely Kimimaro, possessed the Kekkei Genkai Shikotsumyaku. With the exception of Kimimaro, the clan was killed off when attacking Kirigakure. The clan was very savage and had no tactics when going to battle. Kimimaro would for years live as the last member of the Kaguya clan. Apparently, at least the members who possess the Shikotsumyaku abilities have a different bodily structure, as when Kimimaro was fatally ill, Kabuto Yakushi claimed there had been too little information on his body to give any medical treatment

Haku Clan - The Haku Family allowed him to combine wind and water-based chakra to create ice which he could manipulate through willpower alone. The ice Haku created was largely immune to fire-based attacks, only melting slightly when coming into contact with flames. Using his special ability, Haku developed the Demonic Ice Crystal Mirrors, which allowed him to create any number of mirrors made of ice to use as a shield or trap an opponent.

Sabura Clan - The Sabura Family is the family of the famous Gaara of the Desert. They use chakra to control and mold sand as a weapon, shield, or an attack. This family isn't a very big one and is known to have very demonic members in the family.

Puppet Master Clan - The Kugutsu Family is a family of puppet users. They use chakra strings to control their puppets. Any number of chakra strings can be used to control a puppet, but users with more skill can use fewer strings per puppet. Members of this Clan avoid wide open battles and rely on their puppet instincts more than anything else.

Clan Name: SORAKU

Description of clan:
This clan was formed when a son of Hyuga and a Daughter of Uchiha disobeyed thei fathers and fled to be married. Soon after they were married, they defected to the village hidden in the mist. There, they created the Soraku clan. Over a period of twenty years, their clan became a refuge for members of different clans who wanted their own freedom. Twenty-Five years after they were married, they had twin boys. One Named Drakyle, the other was named Hannibal. Drakyle, who was the older of the twins, possesed bothe the sharingan, and the Byakugan. Hannibal, had nothing. Over time, Drakyle became more and more comfortable with using the Occular jutsus and is now able to switch between them freely.

What happenned to the clan: Hannibal, who had grown jealous of his older twins abilities, destroyed the entire clan and murdered his parents. Hannibal then blamed Drakyle for the incident, and Drakyle has been on the run ever since.
