Dawns Training Grounds (Private)

Dawn walked into a old brown house that he owned as Dawn grabbed a book from the shelf that was about the tale of the great Sasuke and how he started the Team snake/Hawk.

As all of you know, Team Hawk, formerly named Team Snake, is Sasuke’s four-man team that he composed after slaying Orochimaru. The original purpose of this team was to make it easier for Sasuke to reach Itachi. Now that Itachi is dead, their new goal is supposedly to crush Konoha. It seems however, that Pain beat them to the chase. I doubt Sasuke ever really wanted to destroy Konoha anyways, so what are his motives now?

Juugo -
He was the originator of the cursed seal, thus, with the possible exception of Sasuke, Juugo has the strongest cursed seal. He has demonstrated the abilities to partially transform, extend his limbs on command, exhibit incredible brute strength, and even heal comrads that are compatible with his seal. All excellent skills that have come quite in handy in battle in the past.

Karin –



At first Karin didn’t seem very useful to the team, but as Killerbee pointed out, there is more than meets the eye. Probably her most useful skill is that she can sense and trace chakra signitures of any individual she, or Sasuke chooses. Another interesting technique is that whomever bites her is instantly healed of their injuries. This uses quite a bit of her chakra, but it is important in battle none the less. As far as actual battling, I doubt she can stand her own, but she is still just as important to a team as a medical-nin like Sakura would be

Suigetsu -



Suigetsu, to me, is the most fun to watch fight. I actually think he is the closest on Team Hawk to Sasuke in strength. He has displayed many incredible water-jutsus, like the one he used to stall the 8-tailed beast. He has the ability to morph his body into a liquid to cushion melee blows. On top of all that, he is a very compitent swordsman, who can wield the legendary sword Zabuza once used.

2.) Motives for cooperating with Sasuke:

Juugo –



Juugo’s motives for traveling with Sasuke are pretty apparent. He actually openly states them several times. Juugo willingly imprisoned himself under Orochimaru, he wanted a way to stop his murderous urges. There was only one person he met there that could do that for him, Kimimaro. Kimimaro told Juugo before he died that Sasuke Uchiha was, in a way, going to be his rebirth. And so, Sasuke is Juugo’s way of staying connected with Kimimaro. Also, Sasuke is the only other person with the calming power to halt Juugo. Around Sasuke is a peaceful place for Juugo to be.

Karin –



While Karin never openly states her reasons for traveling with Sasuke, assumptions can be made. She definitely has a “crush” on the young Uchiha, and has actually wanted to ravage him when he went to sleep once. Still, this attraction can’t be the only reason she travels with him can it? I remember Suigetsu telling her that he knows what she did to Sasuke sometime in the past. I wonder what that is, and if it has anything to do with her motives.

Suigetsu –



Suigetsu claims to cooperate with Sasuke to further advance himself. This sounds pretty reasonable, since he has proven to be a pretty selfish person. He has already gotten Zabuza’s old sword in Sasuke’s company, and aims for Kisame’s. He believes that with Sasuke’s strength, that might be reachable. I use to think that after he thought he was strong enough, he would either leave Team Hawk, or turn on them, but after seeing his dedication to Sasuke in the fight against Killerbee, I’m not so sure. One thing that still strikes me as funny is Suigetsu’s comments to the prisoners of Orochimaru’s hideout right here. Why would he care if people think of Sasuke as a hero? Did he know Itachi?

3.) Where can I see them in the future?

Juugo –



Juugo is the only one of the three that I am pretty sure has pure, good intentions. I don’t think he plans too far into the future, but I know that he legitimately wants the best for Sasuke. I also think that he wants to be around Sasuke for as long as he can, or at least as long as it takes for him to learn to control his urges. So where do I see him in the future? A few places are: 1.) Dead. I hope not, but if somebody would do it other than Naruto, I can see Juugo putting his life on the line to save Sasuke. A “jump in front of the bullet” situation if you will. 2.) Making a permanent home for himself in Konoha. That is, if Sasuke ever goes back. 3.) Much like Sora from the filler arc., wandering as a traveling shinobi. This is of course, after he controls his urges, Team Hawk disbands, and he tries to make a new home for himself.

Karin -



This is a little harder to theorize, on account of the fact that I don’t know her true motives just yet. I would say she would try to settle down with Sasuke, but I doubt he’d be interested in that. In truth, I think she might be a double agent for Kabuto. Orochimaru might be dead, but the Sound Village isn’t destroyed. Remember that…

Suigetsu –



What I hope for Suigetsu and what is probable are two different things. I want Kisame to defect from Akatsuki whenever Sasuke and them do, and I think after whatever major sort of battles in the future occur, and if they are both still alive, I think it would be awesome for Kisame to take leave with Suigetsu. You know, after Team Hawk disbands. I think it would be interesting for Kisame, (perhaps the last member of the 7 Swordsmen of the Mist) to train Suigetsu. Maybe they would start a new generation of them. This is a highly radical situation though, and like I said, more what I want than what’ll probably happen.
