Name: Kuchinawa Clan
Kekkei Genkai: The Kuchinawa’s bloodline deals with their affinity for snakes along with the poisonous state of their blood. All members of the Kuchinawa Clan have toxic blood, although each members blood is different. Once spilt, the blood can be used in many different ways. Mainly though, it is a strong corrosive acid that can eat through skin and metal. If the blood gets on soft tissue, like eyes or other such things, it can quickly do irreparable damage. At birth their blood is only a small irritant, but it swiftly increases in potency as the member grows. Their bodies have a built up immunity towards their own blood and at best, it will cause small burns when in contact with skin.
Because their blood is such an acidic substance, most if not all poisons do not work on Clan members. Even if they do, it is at a lesser effect and the body heals quickly. This is why some members choose to work exclusively with poisons, and most members can become fearsome shinobi for that ability alone.
The very same blood that can be used as such a great tool of destruction is also a bane, a double edged sword. There are many cases of a Clan members blood increasing in potency too fast for their body to adjust to. In these cases, the members blood will very slowly begin to eat them from the inside out. However, it is rumored that some Clan members have grown able to control this, and even gained a greater control over their blood, living off of the toxin that courses through their bodies.
Another aspect of the Kuchinawa Clan is their ties with snakes. The Clan holds the snake summoning contract, and once a member has proven themselves worthy they sign the scroll. Along with that, Clan members have bonds with nin-snakes. Almost like the Inuzuka Clan of Konoha, they are able to use their companions in battle and for other purposes, even going so far as being able to talk to snakes.
Like the Inuzuka Clan, members also have senses more in tune with their companions. Elongated canines, usually resembling fangs and the bright facial markings are the more obvious ones. However, most members also tout slitted eyes which allow them to see in the dark, along with various levels of heat sensitivity. Their sense of smell is also much stronger than a normal humans, and their hearing is aided by vibrations carried through the air and ground. A less noticeable trait is that their tactile senses are largely increased, which can both prove a major hindrance when wounded or a large blessing.
Clan History: The Kuchinawa Clan is an old and long mistrusted and/or feared Clan. Renowned for their high-handed ways, and disregard for even their own members wellbeing or lives, they are perhaps rightly feared and reviled. Long ago, they resided within Iwagakure. However, their cruelty, and ambitious goals soon caused them to be exiled.
From that point on, the Kuchinawa Clan wandered. They could find no Village that would accept them, either for fear of retribution from Iwa or from disdain of their ways. That was, until they went to Konohagakure. Once there, the Clan head met with the Hokage, promising that if they were given a home with no judgment on their ways and respectable power in the Village, they would provide Konoha with a strong Kekkei Genkei. Every child born after that day became a shinobi, no matter their aptitude or wishes. And with that pact, they sealed their placement as one of the more prominent Konoha Clans.

Clan Weapon: Name: Kinubari Senbon
Description: These senbon are specially crafted out of a precious metal which absorbs light instead of reflecting it. They are made to be thinner than normal senbon and thus much harder to spot, since light doesn’t bounce off of them this makes them extremely more subtle than normal senbon. They are lighter than normal senbon also which allows them to be faster. These senbon are hard to use due to their specifications, only someone who intimately knew senbon would be able to successfully employ them. They are lighter and thinner which makes them weaker than normal senbon, thus they do notably less damage.

Description: A basic intimidation skill, Seimai Manako can vary in effect depending on the users skill level. It costs no chakra, because it is basically a calculated and released burst of killer intent along with a practiced facial expression; normally a glare. At most it can cause a paralyzing fear, or even cause someone to run away, and at least it will draw someone’s attention to the user.

Sometimes it can be used just as a distraction, since the skin temporarily retains the color and appearance of the user.

Description: Kuchinawa Clan members are heavily obsessed with their poisonous blood. They have studied it for years along with their snake companions venom. Through these studies they have unlocked the secret to poisons and created a jutsu to counter-act them. The user needs to be close enough to touch the victim for this jutsu to work. As long as the user has felt the poison that's being used themselves they can cure the victim, and when used on themselves can create an immunity to whatever was used. In order for the jutsu to work, the victim must let the users nin-snake bite them and inject them with an anti-venom.

Name: Namami Bunshin no Jutsu - Flesh and Blood Clone

Description: Namami Bunshin no jutsu is a technique utilized by Kuchinawa Clan members. Taking blood from the user, as well as a piece of their skin or body, the user can create a Bunshin clone. This clone functions like a normal Bunshin except that it is made out of blood and soma. When it is attacked, the malleability of the congealed blood and flesh allows the blow to sink into the clone, which can than wrap itself around a limb. When the clone is injured, it will revert back into its natural blood state, causing a spray of blood that has a radius of five meters.

Description: The Clan members nin-snake bites the opponent and injects them with a special venom. Once the user's nin-snake has bitten the opponent they begins to lost track of the users movements. To the opponent it will seem like there is a trail behind the user and that they are a movement behind. The sensation that everything is happening slower is similar to being intoxicated or completely exhausted. The technique is very effective at reducing an opponents reaction speed. Their vision will get blurry and it will be hard to distinguish if they are looking at their enemy or just an afterimage.
The venom wears off after a short while. (3 posts) Any anti-poison or poison healing jutsu can easily cure it.

Description: Kuchi Hanone is a Clan jutsu that allows the user to spit a poisonous substance from their mouth. The poison can travel several meters, but can also be distributed through a bite. It freezes whatever it touches, and is generally used on limbs to cause them to lock up. However, there is a secondary effect. If the poison is aimed for the neck, eyes or wrist, it instead eats its way into the victims bloodstream and causes extreme fatigue.

Description: Chishio Biten is another use for a Kuchinawa members blood. Collecting chakra to some spilt blood, the user can either form a small red stone like object, or smear a small pinprick of blood onto someone. After the blood gains contact with an object or person, the Clan member will always know where they/it is and a general status report although no real details. This helps especially with a team that covers large distances and isn’t always within eye sight.

Description: From a very young age, Kuchinawa members begin to create jutsu with their nin-snakes. Through this close bond, all members are taught how to store chakra within their nin-snakes for emergency situations. It becomes almost rote, a small bit of chakra sacrificed every day, and some members never find themselves in a situation where they would need to tap into the sealed chakra. (Saps 1 CK a day, contains up to 50 CK)

Description: This seal can only be placed on Clan’s members. After a long string of hand seals the user needs to hit the victim with both palms in the area where the seal is being placed. Once in place this seal locks away all of the victims chakra barring a small trickle. Only enough for them to stay barely conscious, but not enough to do more than that. The seal feeds and powers itself on the victims chakra, so if they don’t have enough chakra it will suck them dry. It causes extreme pain to the victim, as their blood literally mutates, and becomes more toxic. The pain itself may cause psychological trauma to the victim. After 24 hours, if the person has been continuously feeding the seal chakra without dying the seal stops sucking chakra as ferociously. The seal will always drain a small amount of chakra. After this period the victim will not be able to un-activate the seal and it will stay activated, keeping their blood in the mutated stronger form. This will cause the victim pain, as their blood slowly eats them from the inside out. The seal keeps it from being fast and it will take years for the blood to kill the victim. But there are various physical repercussions as it slowly works. After a period of time the victim will be able to activate the second level of this seal. The second level allows the user to draw on the seals power. They can tap into all the stored chakra and use it, but only the amount that the seal has drained from the user, and that amount is permanently gone after being used. This level increases the speed of the victim moderately. The last level grants heightened awareness. After using this level, the victim usually collapses as their blood tends to act up. This seal is seldom used among the Clan. Although it is a sign of respect for someone to survive this seal whole. It isn't frowned upon per se, but the Clan leaders have subtly discouraged the use of this seal due to the complications and the general uproar when people outside of the Clan find out. (Saps 2 chakra a day, which stacks.)

Description: Chi Ase is a defensive and offensive technique. A Clan member will circulate particles of their blood throughout their body, excreting it from their pores. The poison will then coat the users skin, fetching onto anything that contacts the members skin and eating away at it with a ferocity. After one turn, the poison will also go airborne in the form of a particle like substance. It casts a reddish pale color to the air, and permeates two meters away from the users body. Anything that enters that area of space will be subjected to the acid like effects of the users blood. Thus the intensity depends on the users blood toxicity. If breathed in, the poison will slowly eat away that the victims lungs.
