Kekkei genkai: Deikatsu Clan possessed special mouths in the palm of each hand to create Exploding Clay, earth chakra-infused clay that detonated with the command Katsu and a single-hand hand seal. The clay could be molded into a wide variety of shapes and forms, growing to large sizes when infused with chakra, and could be controlled at will. This allowed the clan to create living explosives to attack opponents at long range. They can even create clones from the clay, that could explode. The clan members also have a mouth over their heart. With that they can create the most powerful explosion. The Deikatsu clan have earth elements to create their clay.

Clan history: A clan originally formed at Iwagakure long time ago. A talented shinobi invented the art of exploding clay. Soon there were many people at the clan and it was quite famous. Soon after that the shinobi who had created exploding clay techniques attached other shinobi mouths to his palms with medical ninjutsu. Many shinobi from the clan did the same thing. After the previous leader died and the next generation was born even the babies were born with mouths on their palms and with an extra mouth above their heart. After that came generation of Naruto Rivals and the clan was full of many talented exploding clay masters.

Description: Using the mouths in the palms of his hands, Deidara can infuse clay with chakra. He then molds it into a shape depending on the abilities he wants it to have and spits it out. Description: Deidara creates Exploding Clay that is connected to his hands with a thin cord of clay. The clay then rises from the ground, molding itself into human-like forms. Deidara runs chakra through the cords of clay, manipulating the clay substances to attack the opponent. The density of the clay is strong enough to repel and suck in a sword. When cut apart, the clay substances form more human/animal like forms. Deidara then can connect more cords of clay to the fallen clay pieces. Furthermore, Deidara can then use the clay as explosives, attacking the opponent and covering them with clay, which then explodes.

Description: The user makes a clone out of mud and clay so that the clone takes in all the damage. In the anime, it is shown as a clone melting into clay after an attack from Naruto's Rasengan. However, Kakashi refers to this as a Kawarimi (Replacement) which possibly means Deidara can switch himself with a clone to avoid damage. You can make the clone explode by doing needed hand signs.
